Impact of Research Hub

If you work in higher education and would like to join a network of other higher education professionals, you may want to sign up for free to the Guardian's Higher Education Network. There are at least 12 discussion Hubs ranging from the Impact of Research to Professional Development and Learning and Teaching. Topics discussed on a daily basis include advice on how to finish that PhD, openness in university research and the impact of Scottish independence on the identity of university staff. DIT opens doors in Grangegorman

DIT staff were preparing this week for the influx of 1,000 students as the new DIT Grangegorman campus opened its doors as part of its €38 million first phase. The faculties of social science, art, design and photography have relocated to the new campus as a corner of Dublin once hidden behind high walls is now being opened up, not only for students, but for the public too.
